Miss Maeve joined the St. Theresa family as the 5th grade teacher in 2021. She is earning her masters as a member of the Urban Catholic Teacher Corps at Boston College. Last year, she taught 5th grade at Our Lady of Lourdes/Red Cloud Indian School on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, SD. Miss Maeve is originally from New Jersey, and she is new to the Boston area. She is excited to teach 5th grade again and create her classroom community.
Her favorite book is The Red Pony by John Steinbeck.
Miss Maeve was profoundly impacted by her 7th grade Italian Renaissance history class. She learned how architecture, philosophy, art, and religion, could all be connected and compared. This class taught her the importance of integrating cross-curricular learning for all subjects, something she seeks to do.
