Mrs. Gobbi graduated 1990 from UMASS-Boston with a B.A. in Education and English. She enjoyed teaching middle school for 10 years at St. John The Evangelist School in Cambridge and continued with her students when the school merged with St. Theresa School around 2002. After taking several years off to raise her 3 daughters, she returned to St. Theresa Middle School. She enjoys teaching middle school math and 8th-grade language arts.
Her favorite book is Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.
Mrs. Gobbi’s favorite middle school memory is diagramming sentences with the language arts teacher, Miss Devito. She deeply enjoyed writing all of those sentences in beautiful cursive and worked out the parts of speech like puzzles. As a math and language arts teacher, she enjoys presenting puzzles and opportunities for fun to her students today.
