Ms. D’Errico began her teaching career as the fifth grade teacher at St. John School in Boston’s North End. Over the years, she taught fifth and third grade homeroom and science and socials to grades 3-8. In 2020, she came to St. Theresa’s to teach second grade. She loves the feeling of family at the school.
Her favorite book is The Boy Who Changed the World by Andy Andrews.
Ms. D’Errico’s fondest memory of second grade was when she attended Sunday school and prepared to receive her First Holy Communion. She was so excited about wearing her beautiful white dress and receiving Jesus for the first time. She felt so grown up and closer to God. Now as an adult, she finds comfort in receiving Communion and participating in the Mass, while teaching a new generation of students about receiving the Eucharist.
I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples. - Mother Teresa
