Ms. Anju George teaches seventh grade homeroom and middle school science.Starting her teaching career as a High School Mathematics teacher, she taught for three years at SFS ICSE School, one of the reputed catholic schools in India, and one year at El Campo High School, a public school in Texas.
She reminisces on her school days as memorable moments when she found a second family in her classmates. Ms. George cites her mother as the greatest teacher in life and her inspiration to become a teacher.
Ms. George enjoys reading books, with her favorite being ‘Wings of Fire’, narrated by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. She often spends free time exploring new places and cuisines as well as spending time with family and friends.
One quote which has inspired her in various stages of life, a quote from her favorite book ‘Wings of Fire’, is the following: “A dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep” - Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.
